Police looking for building jumpers

NEWPORT, Ky. (AP) - Police in northern Kentucky are looking for two men who jumped from the top of a 250-foot building earlier this week.

The men used parachutes to leap from one of the top floors of the SouthShore condominium complex and recorded a video posted on
YouTube. The Kentucky Enquirer reports that the video showed the men parachuting to the ground and then running into a silver van.

The video has since been removed from the site.

Newport Police Capt. Pat Moore says the two men, if caught, could be charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct. He said he knows of no state law against the daredevil activity known as base-jumping.

Moore said managers at the complex have assured police the doors
would remain locked.
