34 troopers graduate KSP academy

Some new troopers join the ranks of the Kentucky State Police.

Friday was graduation day for the new class in Frankfort.

Governor Steve Beshear thanked the graduates for their service and sacrifice.

They spent a thousand hours in the classroom and trained on everything from crime investigation to survival Spanish.

With the addition of the new graduates, the agency is now 928 troopers strong.
