People in Pike County are once again cleaning up after recent floods.

The county was declared a state of emergency on Thursday after flash floods hit several communities.

Flood victims say they are still trying to get back to normal after the devastating mother's day weekend floods.

People in Pike County can seek help at disaster recovery centers set up at the Belfry Public Library and the Johns Creek Elementary School.

Who? What? Where? When? Why? I passed through the area on Thursday and heard radio reports of folks' having to be rescued by boats, of roads being flooded, of homes being flooded for a second time in recent weeks. I am very disappointed that your story is very weak on details. Believe it or not, many of us care about our neighbors in eastern KY.
