A grand jury has indicted Toni Barber Friday afternoon in connection to the death of her son.

A Fleming County grand jury decided there was enough evidence to move the case against Barber forward. She's charged with manslaughter and criminal abuse. Police say Barber told them her two and a half year old daughter and 18- month old son somehow climbed into the family van a few hours before she found them.

But police say Barber left her two children inside a van leading to baby Kaleb's death. Fleming County detectives say Barber's story is unlikely, and that lead them to a full investigation into the mother's claim.
