Dozens of tires slashed overnight

Dozens of homeowners in the Andover area of Lexington woke up Tuesday morning to find their tires slashed and mailboxes damaged.

Around 100 cars had at least one tire flattened. Many had more than one slashed, some cars even had all four, including a Lexington police officer.

The vandals didn't stop there. They knocked off mailboxes and put "mooshy" stuff in one homeowners box.

The consensus in the neighborhood, located off of Autumn Ridge, is that it was kids with nothing better to do.

Cars on Indian Summer Trail and Crimson Creek were also hit.
