Severe weather continues to be a major player in Kentucky.
A state of emergency is in effect for areas dealing with flooding.
Crews in Whitley and Letcher county have been busy Wednesday night pulling people out of cars or out of flooded homes.
Parts of downtown Fleming, Neon and surrounding areas have been under water today, prompting officials to issue the state of emergency.
Also Wednesday, the National Weather Service confirmed that an EF1 tornado struck in Lewis County.
It traveled about a half mile near Tollesboro.
Several homes or mobile homes received minor structural damage, with 3 mobile homes lifted off their foundations in the Hampton Ln. road area.
Thankfully, nobody was injured.
