Video will be available shortly

A Lexington landlord says he's out rent money, and now, repair costs after trying to serve an eviction notice.

Henry Smoot will have spend more than $6,000 to fix what he believes one tenant ripped apart.

Smoot says a tenant took an axe to the home after getting an eviction notice.

Johnathan Brown lived in the home with his mother. He says someone burglarized the place.

The 18-year old says he has seen the damage, but he says he only put one of the holes in the walls.

The landlord has filed a police report. He tells 27 NEWSFIRST he plans to press charges.
