Georgetown church burglarized

A surprise this morning for folks at a central Kentucky church. They arrived to find someone had busted in their sanctuary.

Thieves kicked in the door at Great Crossing Baptist Church on Stamping Ground Road and then broke into the preacher's office. All the church's computers were stolen.

Employees tell 27 NEWSFIRST it's a shock someone would target their congregation.

The only damage to the building was the preacher's office door, which will have to be replaced.
