Center Serves Christmas Meal to Homeless

It's the season for giving, and Sunday the Catholic Action Center wanted to give its patrons a little holiday cheer.

Volunteers prepared a potluck meal for hundreds of Lexington's homeless. A live band came out to provide entertainment.

The center serves the homeless everyday, but Sunday night it was a lot more crowded than usual for the Christmas meal.

The Catholic Action Center has served more than 1.7 million meals since it opened. It serves about three hundred meals a day.
