"Everything is safe there is no real problem," Ray Woolsey said.

Garrard County Schools Superintendent Ray Woolsey says a hit list found on a school bus after classes were dismissed yesterday is being handled by school officials.

"We have informed parents whose names were on the list. We feel assured the list didn't really mean anything," Woolsey said.

But he says they take these situations seriously no matter what, so the student has been removed from Garrard County Middle School. Woolsey says she will be affected by this mistake for the rest of her life.

"It was an irrational move by a young child. That move by a young child that did not realize what the consequences were for her actions," Woolsey said.

The Garrard County Sheriff says a district judge will decide how to proceed with the student. Right now she is charged with terroristic threatening.
