A suspect is recovering after he was bitten by a police dog early Wednesday morning.
Lexington Police were called to the old Popeye's sign company, which is being demolished, on South Broadway at Pine Street for a man who was hiding inside the building.
When officers approached the suspect, they say he wouldn't surrender.
Police released a dog on the suspect which bit the man in the arm.
Gerard Tobias, 64, went to U.K. Hospital.
He is charged with burglary and expected to be okay.
