A new study just released by Car and Driver Magazine says a texting driver is just as bad as a drunk one.
The driving study tested the reaction times of several drivers who were texting. It found those people had reaction times just as slow, or more slow as a legally drunk driver.
Kentucky Lawmakers seemed to see the danger in cell phone use while driving, and had a bill under consideration to crack down on cell phone use while driving, but that bill hit a dead end. It passed the House, but was killed in a Senate Committee.
