A serious situation Monday night in Southern Kentucky. A train hit a mini-van in Laurel County. At least one person died.
The accident happened near US 25 in front of the entrance of Levi Jackson State Park in London.
Brian Reams with the Laurel County Emergency Management tells us three people had to be flown from the scene to the UK Hospital. Another person was taken to a local hospital.
A fifth person in the van died.
The road into Levi Jackson State Park was shutdown.
