Police in Southern Kentucky are calling it one of the biggest meth busts in years.
After a 6-week investigation, the Whitley County Sheriff's Department went to a house on Bacon Creek Road late Saturday night and found large amount of meth making materials, 6 grams of meth and handgun hidden in a McDonald's bag.
36-year old Kelley Coffey, 29-year old Alicia Siler and 27-year old Kenneth Buchanan were arrested and charged.
Sheriff Lawrence Hodge even says while they were collecting evidence, calls were coming in to the suspects phones about buying the drug.
Those inquiring were arrested and some tried to get away, including 22-year old Christipher Bobbitt, James Hill and Jack Armstrong.
The sheriff says more arrests are expected.
