A Kentucky college student is putting her feet to the pavement, trying to raise money for Africa.
20-year Courtney Cox, from Pendleton County, is walking across the state, from Newport in northern Kentucky to the Tennessee line in McCreary County.
The UK student visited Uganda last summer and hopes to raise enough money to return next summer and help improve some infrastructure.
Cox says keeping positive helps her keep going, even when her feet are covered in blisters.
