Mother Killed In Two Car Accident

A fatal crash involving two cars claimed the life of one woman Sunday morning. State police say two cars slammed into each other in a head on collision.

We're told it happened on Highway 498 in Lee County about 10:15 a.m. 26-year old Rebecca Hogan was killed in the wreck. Three children were also in the car. They were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car was not injured.
However, State Police say a passenger in the car who was pregnant had to be air-lifted to the hospital. We're not sure of the extent of her injuries or her unborn child.
