Post Office Open On Rare Sunday

Print

Many people came out Sunday to try and beat the rush Monday.

Two Lexington Post Office locations opened Sunday to help people ship out their last minute Christmas mail.

From packages, to presents and cards, people dropped by the Liberty Road Station to try and make sure their gifts arrive to their appropriate places on time.

Employees were hoping to get a head start on tomorrow, which is considered the busiest mailing day of the year.

A spokesperson for the post office says people should prepare for long lines Monday.
