Traffic Troubles Along I-75

A tractor trailer fire early Tuesday morning closed one south-bound lane of Interstate 75 in northern Scott County.

It happened near the 141 and 142 milemarkers.

Emergency crews aren't saying what the truck was carrying.

Haz-Mat crews were called to the scene to clean up the residue.

At around 6:30 a.m., a passenger car in the area wrecked into an embankment.

Police say the female driver went to the hospital. They are not commenting on the extent of her injuries.

If you're traveling I-75 in northern Scott County, expect some delays.
