Police Make Arrest In Cold Case Murder

Lexington Police say they've cracked a cold case.
A grand jury returned an indictment today in a 1997 murder.

Stevie Lee Fox was found murdered back in 1997 at the Catalina Motel. He was stabbed 47 times.

Police say Aaron Leaf Rivers killed the Louisville man.
More than nine years after the murder, a grand jury finally indicted the 34 year-old.

Rivers was already in federal prison, after pleading guilty to mailing a threatening letter to former KY governor Paul Patton.

Fox's family says they hope this case goes to trial...so that maybe they'll get some answers about why there loved one was murdered.
