Lexington's 4th of July Festival continued with Thursday Night Live at Cheapside Park. This year's festivities included a special tribute to Michael Jackson.

Lexington's annual re-enactment of "Thriller" was held Thursday night at 8 o'clock and again at 9 o'clock.

"Thriller" has traditionally been held on Halloween since 2002.

Mecca Dance Studios produced the event.

MJ is not dead!!! I saw him coming out of the Corbin Wal-Mart last night. People that think this guy was so great are streching the truth a little bit. He was just a man and nothing else.

I heard Al Sharpton say that Michael Jackson is not getting the same kind of coverage for his death as Elvis did. You know what? He is correct. Michael Jackson is getting MUCH MORE coverage than Elvis and Al Sharpton just needs to shut his mouth. That is the most prejudice person I have ever heard in my life. I still have never heard him apologize about the Tawana Brawley fake abduction story back in the day.
