For a couple of hours on Friday authorities searched for 38-year-old Tina Peak, who family says was visiting a friend Thursday night and never came back.

Dannie Peak says she called authorities early Friday morning after her 38-year-old daughter, Tina Peak, who is mentally disabled, never returned home.

Authorities, firefighters, EMS crews, and neighbors canvased the Ponderosa Mobile Home Park in Lexington looking for the woman. Her mother says her worst fear was that she needed help.

A couple of hours after searching for the woman, who police says has a seizure disorder, she was found in Georgetown. Peak says she went with a friend and never made it home.

A scary situation for her family who was worried about her, but thankful for the large group of people who helped find her.
