There was a serious car accident in Lexington today. At least one person was left with serious injuries.
Police say a truck crashed into a telephone pole on New Circle Road at North Broadway.
81 year old Thomas Carter was driving the pickup truck at the time of the crash.
An off duty cop and bystander pulled Carter from the flames.
He's at UK Hospital in serious condition. He's said to be severely burned.
