A bizarre situation at an Oldham County home when a robber targets a home, with an FBI agent inside.
Police say Sherman Ellis of Louisville broke into a home on Goshen Drive.
The homeowner, Wes Johnson, later found him hiding in a storage closet.
Investigators say Ellis stole the garage opener to Johnson's house after cutting a hole in the top of a convertible.
Johnson said Ellis picked the wrong house, guests at the home for FBI agents.
The retired agents held him at gunpoint, until authorities arrived.
Ellis is behind bars on a 10-thousand dollar bond and faces nearly a dozen charges.
He is also a registered sex offender.
