A Georgetown home was raided by police and animal control after receiving a complaint that dying animals could be inside.

When they got inside the Fordland avenue home, officers say they found three malnourished cats that hardly had any hair on them. They say they also found feces throughout the house.

The owner was not home, but said she lives there. Officials say there has been no water at the home for six months.

At this point, officers say they will meet with the city attorney to discuss possible charges. A code enforcement official says he has contacted the owner to set up a time to inspect the home.
