Kentucky State Police charged a Western Kentucky man with murder late Tuesday afternoon, just a day after his stepmother was found shot to death in her Edmonson County home.
Police say 49-year old Richy Wells, who is from Mammoth Cave, killed 69-year old Lucille Wells.
The woman's body was found late Monday night at her home in Brownsville,
Police say the woman died from a single gunshot wound. No motive for the crime has been released.
