A man is behind bars, accused of attacking a woman in his apartment complex.
It happened at an apartment building on Cross Keys Road, near Versailles Road.
Lexington Police say the suspect grabbed the woman as she left her apartment, forced her into a basement laundry room and then tried to rape her.
Police say the woman was able to fight the man off. People in the area called police who eventually tracked the suspect down to an apartment in the building.
The arrested 41-year old Higini Sernas-Cruz for criminal attempt to commit rape.

If he is not legal, quick fix - just ship them back to where they came from. Quit using up our tax dollars paying for them to be here illegally. Make them build the "fence" they want built. Feed them bologna sandwiches and dress them in pink:)
