One killed, three injured in crash

A violent crash on a busy southern Kentucky road leaves a young woman dead and three others fighting for their lives.
It happened around 6:00am Thursday on Highway 27 in the Sloan's Valley area of Pulaski County, near Somerset.
Police say a Mustang heading south sparked the crash. "Our investigation shows it crossed the center line, struck a Jeep Wrangler traveling north bound", says Sgt. John Williams, of the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department.
The driver of the Mustang was killed. She has been identified as Amanda Gayle Nealy, 22, of Somerset.
Officials say two passengers in that car and the driver of the Jeep had critical injuries and were airlifted to UK Hospital.
Police are still piecing together the events that led up to the crash. The 3 others hurt have not been identified.
