Deadly Fire Intentionally Set
State Police tell us the victim, 16 year old Christina Lenora Woods, was killed in a house fire Friday.
Firefighters were called to the home on 1520 Owingsville Road in Montgomery County, around two Friday afternoon.
Woods was found dead inside the home and another man, later identified as Woods' step father, was injured. The victim, 40 year old Michael Neace, was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Neace had stab wounds and remains in serious condition.
Investigators tell us the fire was intentionally set and has been determined arson.
Police tell us the cause of Woods' death is still pending final examination by the State Medical Examiner.
