Mayor Newberry And Vice Mayor Jim Gray Sworn Into Office

Lexington's Mayor- elect Jim Newberry and Vice Mayor- elect Jim Gray, were officially sworn in Sunday.

The Inaugural ceremony was held at 2:00 this afternoon at the Lexington Center.

The ceremony was open to the public where many attended the event.

Mayor Newberry was the sixth mayor of the Lexington- Fayette Urban County Government since the merged government was created in 1974.
