Lexington pastor placed on leave after abuse allegations

A Lexington pastor has been placed on administrative leave while sexual abuse allegations from more than 20 years ago are being investigated.

The Roman Catholic Dioceses removed Father Joseph Muench, the pastor at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary from all ministries.

Three boys claim they were molested by Muench while he was associate pastor at Good Shepherd Parish in Frankfort during the 1980s.

No criminal charges have been filed, however the Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney is investigating.
