Wife to go on trial for husband's murder

A central Kentucky woman accused of murdering her husband stands trial for the crime.

Two years ago, Carl Bartley was found dead, shot in the back of the head in the couple's Montgomery County home.

Prosecutors say his wife, Pam Bartley, is responsible.

Jury selection began Tuesday morning in her trial, it's expected to last the rest of the week.

Monday in court, a judge decided to allow some statements from family members into the trial. Some claim Carl had told them he felt threatened by his wife, Pam, prior to his death.

Pam Bartley has pleaded not guilty.
