19-year-old Audreal Hopkins is being lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center. She is facing a robbery charge for her alleged role in a robbery Monday morning at a home on Brynell Drive.

The sister of the robbery victim says her sister knew the suspects and allowed them into her home. Jenny Kessler says one of the suspects then held a gun to the head of one-year-old child in the home and demanded money.

Police later arrested Hopkins and her 20-year-old boyfriend James Wilson.

Hopkins spoke to 27 NEWSFIRST from jail and insists that she is innocent.

"I guess I got a lot of enemies," Hopkins says. "That's the only reason why I can see why I'm sitting here right now."

Hopkins says she has two children and would never do something like that to a child. However, she currently does not have custody of her children.

Hopkins and Wilson both appeared in court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to robbery charges. They are each being held on a $10,000 bond.
