Eastern Kentucky Man Shares Memories of Marshall Plane Crash

The movie "We Are Marshall" is stirring a lot of feelings for people close to the Marshall Football program the year the plane crashed. Some of them are here in Eastern Kentucky.

Whayne Supply Manager and former Marshall player Mark Miller wasn't on the plane that night because he was a freshman that year, but he remembers the night well. He also played on the team the rebuilding years after the plane crash. Thursday afternoon at the Pikeville Kiwanis, he shared some of his thoughts on life after the crash.

"I go back today and visit for a ballgame and walk across the campus. The presence is always there at Marshall. Always will be," Miller said.

You can hear more with Mark Miller on Sports Overtime Saturday Night at 11:20 p.m.
