Six people are found dead in two homes, in two different states, but police say the crimes are connected.
Five people were found in a home in Fayetteville, Tennessee and the sixth in a home in Huntsville, Alabama.
Police say some of the victims are related.
No names are being released, nor is a cause of death.
It's not clear where the suspect was apprehended, or the relationship with the victims, and no official motive has been named.
Fayetteville is a town of around 7-thousand people, about 90 miles south of Nashville near the Tennessee-Alabama border.
