Child on bike survives accident with cement truck

A nine-year old boy is recovering at the University of Kentucky Hospital after a cement truck hit him while he was riding his bicycle.

The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. on East Mount Vernon Street in Somerset. That's where Matthew Burton and a friend were riding their bikes.

Somehow Burton ended up in the street and was plowed down by a cement truck.

The little boy was immediatedly airlifted to U.K. Hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was last listed in fair condition.
