Emergency crews shut down part of a Lexington road early Wednesday morning so a gas line break could be repaired.
It all started at around 4:15 a.m. in the Wendy's parking lot off Mount Tabor Road, near Richmond Road.
Construction crews were remodeling signage at a drive-thru when a backhoe hit the gas line.
No one was injured.
Crews with Columbia Gas fixed the break and the road reopened.
