Wet roads are blamed for a crash Wednesday that left a woman seriously hurt in Lexington.
The crash happened just after 5:00 PM on Delong Road.
Investigators say the driver, a 26-year old woman, lost control in a curve, spun sideways, and slammed into a tree.
Crews had to use the jaws of life to pull her out because she was unconscious.
The woman was taken to UK hospital, where police say she's in critical condition with injuries to her head and torso.
