Kentucky State Police have charged a Beattyville man with murder and abuse of a corpse.

It comes after the discovery of a body on Bald Rock Fork Road in Beattyville early Friday morning.

Kentucky State Police say it all started Wednesday night, when they were called to David Dunaway's home for a disturbance.

At that time, police charged Dunaway with possesion of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

After the discovery of the body, Kentucky State Police charged Dunaway with murder.

Family of Dunaway says the two men were friends and that drugs may have fueled the possible murder.
