RIVER ROUGE, Mich. (AP) - A man suspected of fatally stabbing a
woman in a Detroit-area bar, setting the place on fire and then
challenging police to "catch me if you can" has been arrested in
Pike County Deputy Jailer Chris Mitchem tells the Detroit Free
Press the man, in his 40s, was taken into custody Tuesday night.
Police arrested him on suspicion of shoplifting from a store in
River Rouge police and fire Chief Robert Alderman tells The
Detroit News the man taunted police after they called his cell
phone, basically saying: "Catch me if you can."
Police say 51-year-old Wendy Jo Buccini's body was found Monday
night inside a back office at the Jefferson Station bar by crews
answering a fire call in the Detroit suburb.
