Car Crashes Closes Main Street
Lexington Police shut down a portion of Main Street for hours Friday morning to fix a utility pole damaged in a wreck.
The accident happened at Main and Jefferson Streets.
It knocked power lines into the roadway.
The driver had minor injuries and went to the hospital.
A crew from Kentucky Utilities responded to try to fix the pole.
The road is now back open.
