Winter Weather Advisory For Much Of Kentucky

A winter weather advisory is in effect for much of the state as snow, ice and freezing rain is expected.

The advisory is in effect from 4:00 am to 3:00 pm Sunday for portions of Eastern Kentucky.

Snow is expected to develop towards dawn and may be mixed with
sleet, little or no snow and sleet accumulation is expected tonight.

We're told snow is expected Sunday morning and the snow is expected to mix with and change to sleet and freezing rain before changing to all rain by mid afternoon.

Reports also show there maybe around a tenth of an inch of ice
accumulation. The wintry mix of precipitation may cause difficult
driving conditions Sunday morning into mid afternoon.
