Louisville corrections officer faces charges

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A Louisville corrections officer faces
multiple charges on accusations that he was having an inappropriate
relationship with an inmate.

Anthony Moore will be arraigned Monday after he was indicted by
a Jefferson County grand jury on three misdemeanor and two felony

WLKY-TV also reported that Moore, who has been with Metro
Corrections since 2004, was charged last month with promoting
contraband for allegedly bringing cigarettes into the jail and
hiding them in ceiling tiles.

Metro Corrections officials would not speak about the details of
the investigation. Moore is currently free on bond.
