A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
Saturday was a perfect day for the second annual Travis Fryman memorial scholarship fundraiser.
Fryman, a paramedic and EMT was killed in Paris more than a year ago on his way home from a friend's funeral.
Today, friends and family gathered at Bourbon County park to raise money for scholarships that put aspiring paramedics through school.
Our Denny Trease has the story.
Last year's event in memory of Fryman raised almost $14,000 for a scholarship fund for those wanting to follow in his footsteps into a career as a paramedic.
If you'd like to donate to the Travis Fryman scholarship fund, you can stop by any Kentucky Bank in Lexington and Paris or send a donation to Kentucky Bank, P.O. Box 157, Paris, Kentucky.
