Calipari sells home in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Kentucky coach John Calipari has sold his
Memphis home, but for less than he paid for it nine years ago.
Documents filed Wednesday by the Shelby County Register of Deeds
show Calipari and his wife, Sue Ellen, sold the house last week for
just over $1.4 million.
The sale, first reported by Memphis newspapers, was $70,000
below what the Caliparis paid for the house in 2000.
The five-bedroom house went up for sale with an asking price of
$1.7 million when Calipari left the Memphis Tigers in April to take
the coaching job at Kentucky.
The house has five bedrooms, four baths, two half-baths and
swimming pool.
