Former Governor Paul Patton takes new job

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Former Kentucky Gov. Paul Patton is the
new president at Pikeville College.
The board of trustees announced its choice Wednesday. Patton has
been a member of the board for nearly 30 years and is a
distinguished visiting lecturer in public policy and leadership at
the college.
Patton, who was governor from 1995 to 2003, was Pike County
judge-executive before becoming lieutenant governor in 1991.
Patton replaces interim president Boyd R. Buser, who is vice
president and dean of the college's School of Osteopathic Medicine.
