Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
A Grant County woman was killed after her family says she was run over by her mentally handicapped brother.
Relatives of 41-year old Angela Ripley tells 27 Newsfirst that she was trying to stop her brother from driving away from
their home on Keefer Lawrenceville Road when she stepped in front of the truck.
The accident happened Sunday Morning. Ervin Plunkett, Ripley's uncle, says she suffered extensive injuries and was flown to UK hospital, where she later died.
Plunkett says Ripley's brother, Robin James, was found less than a mile down the road crashed in his neighbor's fence.
He says it doesn't appear criminal charges will be filed against Ripley's brother, Robin James, but does believe James will receive medical attention following this incident.
