Friday is move-in day for freshmen at the University of Kentucky.

It comes as the government urges colleges to prepare for the H1N1 virus this fall.

The nation's health officials say colleges may not need to cancel classes if H1N1 hits.

Instead, they recommend those who do come down with the virus to either go home or stay in their dorm rooms.

U.K. president, Dr. Lee Todd, says the school has been preparing and working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Todd says the school will also be urging students to take practical steps in preventing the spread of H1N1, like hand washing.
