Ky. youth minister charged with sex abuse

OWENSBORO, Ky. (AP) - Police in western Kentucky have charged a youth minister and deputy constable with sex abuse.
Owensboro police arrested 22-year-old Jacob Allen Conder on
Wednesday. The Messenger-Inquirer reports that Conder is accused of
inappropriately touching a teenage girl who attended a sleep-over
at Wing Avenue Baptist Church. A police report says the victim
awoke to find Conder touching her.
The church's Web site says Conder is the church's youth
director. The newspaper says that Conder was sworn in as a deputy
constable last year.
The police report said Conder has made written and verbal
statements consistent with the victim's description of what
happened.
