Officer Injured in Morning Chase
A Lexington police officer is hurt after chasing a suspect early Tuesday morning. It happened on Merman Drive in Lexington. The officer has a minor neck injury. The chase began after a traffic stop. Police started following a gold car on Appian Way.
Police tell NEWSFIRST the officers who stopped the car recognized some of the suspects. Police were able to arrest two of the three men inside the car. The other escaped.
