Water Main Break Makes For Rough Morning Commute

A water main break early Wednesday morning forced part of New Circle Road to be closed.

Police officers tell 27 NEWSFIRST it may be several hours before the road is completely back open.

A water main broke at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Water froze, creating ice on the inner loop between Bryan Avenue and North Limestone.

Work crews later tried to fix the break and put salt down on the road.
